Privacy Policy
How [registered legal name not set] collects, uses and protects personal information.
Who is responsible for your data
[registered legal name not set], [registered address not set], decides how and why the personal information described here is processed, and is responsible for it.
For any question about this policy, or to exercise a right under it, write to [support email not set].
What we collect
Details you give us: name, email address, phone number, company name, GSTIN, billing and installation addresses, and anything you write in an enquiry, quotation request or support ticket.
Site and project information: survey notes, load and supply details, photographs of the site, cable routes and installation drawings. These can identify a property and sometimes a person.
Order and payment records: what you bought, invoice and credit note records, the payment method type, the gateway's transaction reference and the payment status.
Account and technical data: your login credentials in hashed form, sign-in times, IP address, and the logs our servers keep for security and fault diagnosis.
Why we use it
To quote for, fulfil and support your order — preparing quotations, arranging delivery and installation, providing warranty and maintenance support, and answering enquiries. This is necessary to perform our contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering one.
To meet legal obligations, in particular issuing tax invoices and credit notes and keeping the accounting records required of us.
To keep the service secure and working: authentication, rate limiting, fraud prevention, and diagnosing errors. This rests on our legitimate interest in operating the platform safely.
To send you service messages about your order. We send marketing only where you have asked for it, and every marketing message carries a way to stop.
Payment information
Card numbers, UPI credentials and bank details are entered directly with our payment gateway. They are not stored on, and do not pass through, our servers.
We retain only what we need to reconcile a payment: the gateway's transaction and order references, the amount, the method type, the status, and the last four digits where the gateway returns them.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work, including keeping you signed in and holding your cart between pages. These cannot be turned off without breaking the service.
Your browser can block or delete cookies, but doing so will prevent sign-in and checkout from working.
Who we share it with
Payment gateways, to take payment and process refunds. Logistics partners, to deliver equipment, which requires your delivery address and phone number. Installation and electrical contractors working on our behalf, where work is carried out at your site. Our hosting, database, email and error-monitoring providers, which process data on our instructions under contract.
We also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Where it is held
Our infrastructure providers may store or process data outside India. Where that happens we rely on contractual protections with those providers requiring them to protect the data to the standard described here.
How long we keep it
Invoices, credit notes and the accounting records around them are kept for the period required by tax law, which for GST records is eight years from the relevant annual return.
Quotations that did not become orders, and enquiries, are kept for three years so we can pick up a conversation you return to.
Account records are kept while the account is open and for one year after it is closed. Security and access logs are kept for twelve months.
Your rights
You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete, ask us to erase it, and withdraw consent where our use rests on consent.
Some information cannot be erased on request because we are required to keep it, most obviously tax invoices. Where that applies we will tell you which records are affected and why.
Send a request to [support email not set]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text, and administrator accounts require a second factor. Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it for their role, and administrative actions are logged.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
Children
This is a business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
We update this policy when our practices change, and the current version always appears on this page. Where a change materially affects how we use your information we will tell affected customers directly.
Grievances about how we handle personal information can be sent to [support email not set] or [support phone not set], addressed to the Grievance Officer. Postal address: [registered address not set]. See also our Terms of Service.
